Beer is the name of the game and that is definitely why HOTD is our very favorite. We also wanted to pass along some kudos and another reason we regularly trek from Vancouver. WA and that is the OUTSTANDING service and attention your Wendy shares with us. We intentionally arrive at opening, find our favorite corner spot at the bar and look forward to Wendy. Blue Dot double IPA. Just great. None better, top of the list. Hire a taxi to get home if you have more than 3! Best food and choices - reasonable prices as well. And thank goodness for parking. You guys are oldies but definitely good!

Purchased two of your beers here in Bellingham, Wa from a small craft beer shop and loved both especially the Fred. Very unique (in a good way) and left me wanting more. As a result, I purposely scheduled a vacation (last Oct) with my lovely bride to Portland. Day 2 of our trip we paid you a visit and order up 7 tasters and an awesome salad that my wife still talks about. I thoroughly enjoyed each one, even my wife was well pleased and she's more of a wine gal. My wife & I thank you for being a pet friendly brew/pub. My only negative is that we don't have more of selction of you beers up here.

I just spent the last week and a half in Portland with my lovely girlfriend, enjoying many a good brew. Came upon Hair of the Dog, by accident, after a fine day of walking the city and meandering back to the house we were staying. We thoroughly enjoyed a Fred and a Greg out front with a great view of downtown across the river. Cheers to the brewers for your fine craftsmanship, can't wait to visit again!

My wife and I have been to Portland 3 years in a row in July for medical visits to OHSU to see Dr. Druker. We didn't come to Hair of the Dog the first year. Bad dogs. After tasting Maple Bourbon Fred From The Wood on tap ... why try any other beer?
